I am a medical professional and have sat in on my son's NILD class multiple times and what they teach in that program I honestly believe should be taught everywhere! It is not a tutoring program, it is a program that works on the rewiring of their brains to see things in the correct sequencing that you would need to be successful in a classroom setting. In Kindergarten, our daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia. After being in this program for 2 years, she is now finishing 2nd grade reading beyond a 4th grade level! Her improvement in reading, writing and math has been nothing short of significant! She is now excited about learning again!

At age 20, I sought help for my learning disability. I met with Mrs. Tanner two times each week over the course of 6 months. Her coaching was very helpful and really strengthened my weak areas in reading.
Since then I've graduated from nursing school in the top 10 of my class and went on to become an RN!
